Thirteen candidates are elected to the Boston City Council.

They are (at large) Peggy Davis-Mullen, Richard Iannella, John Nucci, Albert O’Neil; (by district) Daniel Conley, Maureen Feeney, Maura Hennigan, Thomas Keane Jr., James Kelly, Brian McLaughlin, Diane Modica, Gareth Saunders, Charles Yancey. Four women are elected to the Boston City Council for the first time in its history.
